COMPOSTELLA compostable natural paper bags made of certified cellulose are intended for foodstuffs and are neither coated, lacquered nor impregnated. They are greaseproof, heat-resistant up to 200°C, breathable, odourless and neutral in taste. Ideal for packaging sausage, cheese, fish and fatty pastries. 3 standard sizes available:

large: 20 x 7 x 35 cm
medium: 14 x 8 x 32 cm
small: 12 x 6 x 24 cm

We have limited ourselves to the 3 most important bag sizes:

1. large: 20 x 7 x 35 cm (width x depth x height)
Packaging unit: 1,000 pieces
Typical filling quantity: 6-8 rolls or 1 kg loaf of bread

2. medium: 14 x 8 x 32 cm (width x depth x height)
Packaging unit: 1,000 pieces
Typical filling quantity: 4 rolls or 250 g cheese

3. small: 12 x 6 x 24 cm (width x depth x height)
Packaging unit: 1,000 pieces
Typical filling quantity: 1 filled roll

Custom-made Product
Individual sizes and printings are possible on request. Minimum purchase 1 pallet per size (approx. 40,000 large folding bakery bags, 80,000 medium-size bread roll bags, 120,000 small sandwich bags).

Our COMPOSTELLA natural paper was awarded the German Ecodesign Award 2018 and is also available as 1 for 4 Paper household roll, 1 for 4 bags and as delicatessen paper.

Paper
100% unbleached cellulose from European thinning wood, certified.
Chlorine- and acid-free, free of chemical additives, silicone-free, greaseproof and heat-resistant up to 200°C. Food safe, breathable, completely natural, without coating, without impregnation, without lacquering.

Compostability
100% compostable: COMPOSTELLA natural paper is a pure natural material and may be disposed of after using the green or brown garbage can and garden compost.

COMPOSTELLA uncoated paper bags can be composted without residue according to DIN 13432. This has been tested and confirmed by ISEGA-Forschungs- und Untersuchungsgesellschaft, Aschaffenburg. In the test, the paper was placed in a freshly filled composter. Already after 1 week the residue was < 10%, and already after 2 weeks the material was completely degraded.
