Everyone knows the big nuisance: many walks, parks or pavements are littered with black or red plastic bags, because dog owners have neatly collected the waste of their four-legged friends, but have “disposed” of the bags behind the next corner. There they lie for many years to come.
But it would be so easy – with the new walker bags made of compostable corn starch! After use, they belong in the residual waste bin, but even if they are “forgotten” in nature, they decompose together with their contents in a very short time, on average within 12 – 16 days.
The new dog-walking bags are in no way intended as a licence to dispose of dog excrement in the countryside. But they are intended to reduce the nuisance caused to order-loving citizens when unreasonable dog owners violate the rules of order and cleanliness.
Compostable dog-walking bags would certainly be completely unnecessary if some dog owners were more considerate and turned some citizens against themselves. In this respect, we see our compostable dog-walking bags as a small contribution to the de-escalation of both groups.
Highly recommended also for municipalities, state nature reserves or operators of castles and palaces. For public areas, we also have the matching dispenser boxes made of weatherproof sheet steel.
